Premium and Blood Opals

Vampire Genesis is free to play. Premium supports the game and buys looks and conveniences, never power: no gold, AP, gear or extra Actions are sold, and every vampire earns Actions at the same rate.

Premium

While you have Premium days you get:
• a Premium badge and name style in chat, the forums and the rankings;
• 12 profile pictures instead of 4, and longer status posts;
• richer formatting on your profile;
• the right to give karma (see below).

Buy a Premium vial on the Premium page; every package also holds Blood Opals (see the Vial List).

Premium without a card: a Yellow Vial holds 30 Premium days and can be bought from other players on the Market for gold. Have days to spare? The Vial Workshop bottles 31 of your days into a Yellow Vial to sell or give away.

Blood Opals and the Opal Shop

Blood Opals are spent in the Opal Shop on looks, bought once and kept: portrait looks for Sweeney Todd's chair, familiar skins, gramophone records, home exterior pieces, skiff paints, profile themes and banners (1,500 opals), titles (2,500) and a custom name colour (6,000), plus finishes for crafted furniture and a festival collection during every holiday. You can also buy a look as a gift for a friend.

Vampires who would rather pay in gold will find the Prestige atelier in the City: framed titles, rare fronts, furniture suites, records and dyes for old money.

Karma

Karma is what other vampires think of your words: the heart and broken heart on forum posts and profiles. Premium vampires can change karma five times a day, and each vampire's only once a day. The Hall of Balance shows the standings.

Referrals

Bring a friend to the city with your link from the Invite your friends page. When they reach level 10 you get 3 Premium days; at level 25, 5 more days, gold (300 per level of yours), 20 Actions and some Blood. Only real, separate players count, and you can be paid for at most three recruits in any 30 days. Don't post your link on the game's own forums or chat (see the Rules).
