Seasonal Events Calendar

From the Verdant Plague in March to the Crimson Yule in December, Death Valley changes with the seasons. Here is every event, when it runs, and what it brings.

How events work

Seven seasonal events run through the year in Vampire Genesis. They switch on by themselves on their dates, change the city around you, and bring rewards you can only earn while they last, including limited familiars that never appear in the wild. The city map dresses for each one, from pumpkins to blood-red trees.

The calendar

The Verdant Plague

March 10 – 20

A green blight seeps through the hunting grounds. For eleven nights hunting gold is doubled and Blood from kills is boosted, and a daily visit to the event earns a combat potion.

The Resurrection Rites

Easter week

Ritual Fragments are scattered across the hunting grounds each day. Follow the hints, gather enough fragments and trade them for rewards.

Blood Moon Festival

June 20 – July 4

A blood-red moon empowers the arena: blood won in combat is multiplied, arena win milestones pay out, and a daily Frenzy buff waits on the event page.

The Reaping

September 15 – 30

The annual culling. Every hunting kill counts toward escalating rewards, and 5,000 kills earns the Reaper title.

The Pumpkin King Happening now

October 1 – 31

The Pumpkin King returns to Death Valley and the city dresses for it. Trick or treat once a day for a prize, or a nasty trick.

The Grand Feast

November 20 – 30

Covens race to stockpile Feast Points from arena wins and hunting gold. The coven with the biggest feast earns 1,000 Devotion, and its members who scored take the Feast Host title.

The Crimson Yule

December 1 – 31

A blood-red tree hung with bones and sinew stands in the city square. Unwrap a gift every day, each better than the last, up to the Elder's Gift on the 25th, then a small parcel each night until the year ends.

City bosses

Each event also sends a colossus stomping through the Market, from the Spun-Sugar Colossus in October to the Black Krampus at Yule, and on each named moon a horror prowls the wilds: the Lightless, the Waxing Hunger, the Moonmad and the Waning Wraith. One health bar is shared by the whole city, every vampire from level 1 to 500 can land a few blows a night, and everyone who helped bring it down shares the rewards: titles and Lair trophies, and Moon-blessings for the Blood Communion.

Be ready

Events reward players who are already established: a stronger vampire hunts deeper and wins more arena fights while the bonuses last. Start now and you will be ready for the next one. The Familiar Guide lists every limited familiar, and the Game Guide covers the basics.
