The Moon-Eater is one of 14 aberrants in Vampire Genesis, creatures of things from between the stars. It is never found in the wild: it can only be bred through the Blood Communion. The Codex hint reads: "The fox of the Nether and the eclipse's heads, on the night the moon is eaten." Among its family it has the highest attack.
