So, as I'm sure EVERYONE is aware, CW (or VG) is all but dead. This point of this post is for us to brainstorm to try to see if we can figure out ways to either get old members back, new members in, or if we can manage it, both. I've been a member here for about six years now. (If you count my first account that got banned because my friend tried to make an account on my PC, but we got it straightened out and I just stuck with this one) I've had this one alone for five years now. (Granted, second characters are illegal.) I remember watching this site slowly die, and I was crushed. Eventually, so much so I just couldn't bring myself to log back in. Well, recently, this place popped back into my mind and I figured "what the hell, lets check it out." And now there's what 10-15 people here a day? None of us talk. There's no life anymore. How can we bring that back. Bring in the next generation of Coven Wars! Let's make Coven Wars great again!!!

I will design a graphic that expresses our want and hope. I will post it here when I finish and will send it out to new players and people still active. :)Any Ideas Tristan?

Get Scott to allow someone, such as myself to add/edit features who knows PHP. That's my idea to save the site but I have already messaged Scott and got no reply so I doubt anything will happen. :p

That and for the most part the game is complete. Sure he has some bugs to fix but other then that, take the game as it is. See if people can rank up and try to become the best. Most of the problem is people don't stay. We need groups of people willing to be active and buy premium.

I for one am in my last year of high school and my mum won't let purchase anything except gas. So possibly next year I could :)

I have missed many features, and no, I'm not that new here. I used to play this game when it was called Coven Wars. The last time I tried to log in my original account (~Jolee aka.4339), only got error messages, I guess my account data no longer was available in the system. And, to make this game alive again, why not a makeover? Not complete, I mean, almost going back to its roots, but, keeping the flow. Example, the new Training method: If you just started playing, you can only raise your stats using the freebies, I mean, AP. What if the new players could raise stats using just a part of their turns? Yes, a limited amount, rather than burning everything in Day One, so they'll miss out the rest of the game, like hunting and battling.Hunting, another factor, it needs more encounters, from easier ones up to difficult that will require higher stats and better equipment, therefore might drop more things, money and even an extra Soul Shard. Locations to explore during hunting, it's all about Finding nothing or a bit of money, why not add some traps? One to inflict damage, other to make you weaker (X damage for the next Y steps), an extra encounter with choices (Attack, Leave it or distract it) or “An unsuspecting human is patrolling the area, it's your chance! (Brutal attack, Sneak attack or Leave). ““The human wasn't alone, another human spotted you and rang the alarm. Ambush: Armed humans for the next 10 steps."As for the social part, I think it will take some time to be set in motion. Old members left, some are Jailed or there's no more data about them. And, inviting friends might help, but, if lucky their interest won't die so soon. I can say this for myself, I invited a friend once to another game I was playing 'cause he claimed that there's nothing to do around, after he logged in, he sent me a message stating that the other game was obsolete, even with the active member bars filled, I think he didn't like the system or judged for its graphics.

It just that, but a lot of people grew up playing these games. We have played for many, many years, and that is the core of it. People grew up, started lives and families. And they are just busy with that. I would like to see a mass message sent out to the e-mails that people have signed up with to come back that they have been missed. Something about a reunion or something.

Im still in the group to make this game great again. I mean if you have the right people the place can function on its own. There is a bunch to do like fight and craft.

My offer still stands, I'm literally a PHP Developer for work now and I'm confident I would be able to make changes to fix the site up if given access to the code base
