[SUG] Soul Uses

It's clear that in this point in the game there's almost no need for souls, aside from creating clones which happens so rarely it doesn't create demand for souls that we need other uses for souls.I've suggested this idea before when it wasn't as bad, but now this is just getting ridiculous. I also want to hear what you guys think souls could be used for.Some ideas are...- Souls could be used to create blood boosting potions (increase blood by 150% for 4 hours)
- Souls could be exchangeable for money by selling them to the game
- Souls could add bonuses to weapons either directly or indirectly by exchanging them for gems/items
- Souls could be used to upgrade certain skills of your vampire OR just be able to be directly converted into a low amount of APWhat do you guys think?

Good ideas. I would like to see souls have more use. Right now I am just making high leveled gear for my coven. I range about 1000 soulshards a day. So having them used on something would be cool.

I think making them just directly convertible to a sum of money or a low amount of AP is an easy and simple update that could be done if the other ideas are too complicated.This would still take care of the problem and slightly increase the time it would take for us to reach level 500.

I think it's not difficult to incorporate - remember the Silver Vial, it lasts for a certain time amount.
So, SS convergion can too?I like the blood boost idea, the skill boost idea...and such! Momentary weapon boost can maybe be an option, but perhaps not cause there are already SoulCharged weapons...I'd love to see a more meaningful damage and/or a set of magic skills too!

It's great to see you guys liking the ideas, hopefully we can get Logan and Scott behind this.

I like the blood boosting potion idea, the money exchange(though that might be solved on the market once they become useful), and I certainly agree about increasing weapons. You could come up with a whole gem tier system and a system for slotting them into weapons, which could bring life back to the market by having various weapons that people would actually want to buy. This would be nice to when it comes to those weapons that have 50 level gaps between them so you can work on them even as you level up to the next weapon.I'm not sure if I like the idea of being able to convert them into AP, just because this makes it easier for those ahead to continue advancing their lead.I would add the idea of being able to destroy/eat them for mana. I'm not sure the magic system is robust enough to warrant using souls for mana but if the system was made more indepth with additional spells and uses this could be a nice addition to souls.

Nice suggestions Squishy, I only suggested the option of converting souls to AP as low level players can get the same amount of souls as high level players can, but yes, maybe the amount of AP received could be scaled to the persons level so low level players get more.

If it's a soul suggestion we're going for, I would like to see a Soul Shard Collector for us to trade our souls for cash. At this point in time, it's really REALLY hard to make decent money in the game and for those that are trying to level like myself, AND using a clone to do so, it is rather costly and my husband can't keep sending me money.So for this idea- A Soul Collector or Trader to sell soul shards for a price.- I like the suggestions made by King which has souls being used for different areas.- Say +200 souls for a % boost on your vitality to be able to kill more.- + 350 on ANY stat.I love the overall ideas. Even if it's just a Soul Trader so we can make a bit of money easier! Nice idea Lol.

Hey I would love that. The exchange rate would obviously have to be fairly low though, something like 100 - 200 gold per soul sounds about right.

Also with the hunting map ideas.- Add a potion to increase chances of defeating NPC. (Converted and made with SS)Well, what's the going rate of 1500 SS? 1 mill? I personally that it should be converted to what the market is now for SS, maybe even higher. If you want some form of money flowing around IG, so people actually purchase items, do so, and have the money to do what they please.

Right now to kill a level 500 clone for a week is $32,000,000+ a week. No one really has that kind of money and seeing as you could make a clone for a month... you'ld need a lot of money. To use them often there needs to be some way to make some $$$$

And really, there is no real money coming in through IG aspects of the game. At least if there was a soul conversion, you could convert souls to money. If it costs that much to kill a 500 clone on a daily basis for a week, you'd have to save for a LONG time just to afford killing daily.Soul Conversion = moneyMore Soul Uses = more players using the hunting and killing.Thinking about Soul Uses, how about a Soul Shop? So, Soul Trader/Shop with Soul Shard buying options. Sell them OR trade them for various perks like with what King previously states at the beginning?

Because then there would never be any human to human exchange of souls, it would just be something you sell to the trader. May as well just get more money per human.

I guess that all depends on the person and whether they're looking to rank up or not. I don't think it would fully remove everyone's desire to sell on the market for other players.
