Would things have been different if Anakin skywalker were trained by Qui-gon Jinn? How so?Another question, what if luke had missed the exhuast port during the death star battle in episode 4?

I think it would have been very different, because Qui-gon is older, and has more experience than Obi-wan. If Qui-gon had trained him, I don't think Anakin would have turned to the Dark Side, or even fallen in love with Padmé. He probably would have acted on instinct like he did with Obi-wan, and perhaps even more so, and probably wouldn't have been very obedient with following the Council, as Qui-gon was the same way. All in all, I don't think Order 66 would've been as successful if Qui-gon was still alive, because I think he would have sensed something was up.That's my answer, but others might think differently. Hope this helps.
