Maya was born in the Early 1700`s and raised by her father, who kept her chained in the cellar. He would use her body, breaking her to his will, making her his slave. One night she escaped, him running for her life, trying to get away from the man who had abused her. She ran and ran until she couldn`t anymore, and she collapsed onto the ground in exhaustion. She lay there in pain thinking she was going to die, but then out of the shadows a man dressed all in elegant black came to her and took her home to his estate. This man raised her and cared for her, soothing her into winning his trust through out the years she was with him. She never asked why he would not dine with her, nor would she asked where he went off to during the days. But on the night of her 19th Birthday she found out.
He took her to a meadow far away from his estate and told her to close her eyes and relax. Trusting him she did as he asked, relaxing as she saw in the dewy grass surrounding her. Then it happened, the man she trusted changed, his eyes took on a shimmery glare and his teeth lengthened into pointed fangs. She was scared but she couldn`t move. She wanted to run, wanted to scream for help, but all she could manage was a strangled sob as his fangs sank deep into her neck. Darkness surrounded her as she went unconscious against the monster she so trusted. When she awoke hours later she was alone in the meadow, in pain and oh so thirsty. She was left to die by the man she trusted with her life, he had used her. Now she was left to fend for herself, when she knew nothing of what she was. Eventually after struggling with her blood-lust Maya calmed her fears and learned to control her new abilities and her hunger.


She was walking by herself in the forest one night and tripped over something. Looking at it she noticed that it was a body. Flipping it over she noticed that its eyes were missing.Looking around quietly into the darkness she saw some small lights off into the distance. Frowning softly she got to her feet and walked slowly towards them, not knowing what would befall her. She kept walking and as she did the lights seemed to get farther and farther away. But being as stubborn as she was she kept walking towards them, wanting to know what they were.
Her legs were starting to get tired from all the walking about and she sat down for a rest. Thats when she heard it, the loud thundering of something running towards her from deep in the forest. she looked around herself trying to figure out where it was coming from and what it was. Hearing it get closer she got to her feet and started to run as fast as she could in the oposite direction of the thing chasing her. She ran and ran as fast as she could her hair whiping around her face. Suddenly her feet were pulled from under her and she went sprawlign face first into the dirt benieth her. She could hear the loud panting behind her and she rolled onto her back to look up into glowing yellow eyes.
A Lycan had found her and was breathing down atop her. She covered her mouth to keep from screaming and rolled back onto her stomach and tried to scurry away from the beast. But just as she was about to run something heavy came down on the back of her head and all went dark. When she woke hours later, her ability to see the things that surrounded her w ere completely gone. Maya`s blood is raging with parasites. These parasites make it hard for her to concentrate on reality, making her want to rampage through villages and drain the blood of all the innocents. She craves for this blood, but she uses all her will power to hold that craving down.
If she were to give into the ramblings in her mind she`d succumb to complete darkness. She would destroy everything and anything in her path as she attack every village and city. She wouldn`t be able to be stopped if any of this should happen. The darkness would over-rule normal thinking and make her only think of one thing....
