One day a female fallen angel and a God of the Ocean fell in love. They had a baby. That baby was a little girl that they named Sky. But the two lovers were so different they could not live together. The fallen angel loved the sky so much she couldn't possibly live in the water with the God of the Ocean. So one lived in the sky and the other one lived in the ocean. The little girl was both of them. She could be in the clouds and in the ocean if she so chose. Every few years she moved from one place to the other.
With her mother she learned the art of flight. Her first name was given to her by her mother. It represented what her mother loved so much other than her little girl. Sky too loved to fly and be in the clouds. The wind blowing upon her face as she flew was a glorious feeling. It was pure freedom. Floating upon clouds was like pure joy to Sky. You could lye about in content and never feel the need to stop.
With her father she learned the art of swimming and fishing and other things one could do in the water. From him she was given her last name, Poseidon, for he was a God of the Ocean. He also taught her how to master the power of water. Water could make a new path on land and destroy iron. For those humans who needed to breathe, it could drowned them. Water was a powerful commodity. And Sky had power over it.
Now Sky makes her own path. She is immortal. The only possible way to kill her is by beheading. She heals very quickly and she is very strong. She can conjure water with magic in matter of seconds. The Ocean is at her beck and call. And the heavens will rain for her. Water also has the power to soothe, not just damage. It can give life as well as take life. The Ocean is like a mighty woman. She can love you dearly but she can be a tempest and destroy you.
